Outfit Details: Scarf: The Limited (Gift); Sweater: Gap; Purse: Vintage Coach (Thrifted);
Dress (worn as skirt): Forever 21; Belt: Thrifted; Booties: Charlotte Russe

My dear friend Tomee sent me this scarf as a birthday gift last week. She has great taste. I think the print is lovely, but I what I like best is the color combo of navy and red-orange. Isn't it perfect for fall?

Speaking of fall, I'm loving the beautiful, cool evenings we've had recently. The weather has been perfect for walks, and B and I have really been exploring our neighborhood and the surrounding areas. There's so much to see, and I want to soak up every moment of this weather before winter comes.

  1. I love how the scarf ties in both colors of the outfit. I often think red and navy look too stark on me, but I may have to put an outfit with those colors together next week - you make it look great! :)

  2. Oh you should have made it a competition for someone to name that tune!! I was just listening to this album yesterday, probably the snow that got me in the mood.

  11. I love that you're wearing a maxi! I've been wanting to wear mine still but can't figure out how to not look like Sarah Plain and Tall.

  12. When I saw this, all I could think was, "ahhh well played Madame. Well played." The shirt and scarf are such sombre tones that my mind was set for a rather serious outfit but that skirt! That skirt is a jewel. The fact that the scarf picks up the same color is kizmit! (I could be making up or misspelling words at this point. It's near midnight and I'm half delirious but the outfit is too fabulous not to comment on). Glad I got to see this. It's brightened up my night. xoxo
